Yingnai FRP Coupling is designed to connect two FRP pipe sections while maintaining alignment, sealing and corrosion resistance. Bonded, laminated or elastomeric-sealed configurations can be selected according to system requirements. Coupling diameter, length, insertion depth, resin system, sealing material and pressure rating can be customized for aboveground, buried and industrial process pipelines.
| Item | Typical Technical Specification |
| Product Name | FRP Pipe Coupling |
| Primary Function | Join two straight FRP pipe sections while maintaining alignment and sealing |
| Typical Manufacturing Range | DN25–DN3700; available range depends on joint type |
| Coupling Types | Adhesive-bonded sleeve coupling, double-bell elastomeric gasket coupling, laminated coupling or restrained coupling |
| Pressure Service | PN6, PN10 and PN16 for qualified bonded or laminated systems; gasket couplings shall match the qualified pipe-joint class |
| Dimension Symbols | DN, coupling inside diameter ID, outside diameter OD, overall length L, insertion depth S and gasket-groove dimensions |
| Typical Coupling Length | Approximately 0.5D–1.5D depending on diameter, pressure and joint type |
| Seal Material | EPDM, NBR, FKM or another elastomer selected for the fluid and temperature |
| Adhesive System | Manufacturer-qualified thermoset adhesive compatible with the pipe resin and service medium |
| Resin Options | Polyester, vinyl ester, novolac vinyl ester or epoxy system compatible with the pipe |
| Joint Movement | Elastomeric gasket couplings can permit limited axial movement and angular deflection; bonded couplings are normally restrained |
| Thrust Restraint | External anchors, restrained joints or laminated thrust collars are required where unbalanced pressure thrust exists |
| End Preparation | Controlled spigot diameter, chamfer, bonding length, surface roughness and cleanliness |
| Manufacturing Method | Machine-made or filament-wound sleeve, molded bell ends, machined gasket grooves or field-laminated joint |
| Inspection | ID, insertion depth, groove dimensions, gasket fit, concentricity, adhesive bond quality, joint tightness and pressure test |
| Applicable Standards | ASTM D4161 for flexible elastomeric-sealed joints; ASTM D5685, ASTM D6041, ASTM D2992 and ASME NM.2 for pressure systems |
